The PA Department of Revenue will be transitioning to a new MeF system gateway for processing electronic returns and will temporarily shut down the PA MeF system. The shutdown will begin on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 12:00 am EST through Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 11:59 pm EST. The system will go live on November 30, 2020 and PA will not be accepting TY2017 transmissions when they come back online. Any TY2017 amended returns should be submitted by November 21, 2020.
